is it just me or is the Sibear Incarnon being weird

So I just got the Sibear incarnon, which I've been excited for because I imagined it spawning little ice crystals like Frost does. But when I do a slam attack with the incarnon active there's no visual effect or even any sign that there's an ice wave. Am I maybe just not noticing it going into effect, or is it just being buggy?

Loki's Decoy should gain health in the same way as rhino's iron skin

so basically for a second give or take on the initial cast it should absorb incoming damage to define how much hp it gets. as it is, the harder the difficulty, the less useful decoy becomes, dying almost instantly in steel path which pretty much defeats the purpose of the ability.

i'm not sure if saryn's molt has a similar issue but it's an instant cast and doesn't seem to die immediately when i've used saryn in circuit so it's probably fine? idk, she's more than strong enough already so even if it is pretty weak i don't think she needs a buff since her offensive focus is so strong.

so, yeah, give loki some love so he can be more useful in the circuit and other steel path missions.

Incarnon Melee weapons/evolutions should gain a special attack in their incarnon form, used with block + heavy attack like the drifter melee weapons have in duviri

this would give them a one up over normal melee weapons and bring them more in line with the incarnon firearms in both power and function.

it would also be nice if the drifter melee weapons used on a warframe retained these special attacks but eh.

What's everyone's unintended Warframe interaction?

If you've been around a while, you know what I mean. Maybe it was a bug, maybe it was spaghetti code, maybe it was some things technically working as intended, but having incredibly strange results.... What's your favorite? What's that one silly thing that Warframe once did that you remember?

I'll start: For a brief time, because Breach Surge's little seeking mote things were classed as weapon damage, you could use the Residual and Theorem Arcanes just so to make them do Gas damage, apply Gas STATUS... And then spawn more of themselves. If you got it just right, you'd cast Breach Surge, shoot an enemy once to trigger a mote... And then that mote would hit a Breach Surge'd target, cause another mote, and the chain would continue and just obliterate everyone you'd affected, as well as leaving Gas clouds all over the place.

It was clearly unintended, and because the Residual and Theorem Arcanes are mostly seen as useless, and Gas is also seen as fairly useless, it's not something most people even knew about or would come across, but it was very, very funny.

So what do you all have? What silly things has Warframe done that you just can't quite forget?

Cavalero is a pretty cool guy

Now that i have been visiting him more often cause of all the incarnon stuff, i really got to like him, and the other cast of the Zariman, but him the most.

Too bad we don't get better (and more) cutscenes like the one in destiny, where they flesh out the characters more.

Would really love seeing him and some other characters (Tyl Regor for example) get more fleshed out as characters, and become more than just vendors or announcers on the sidelines.

New player, I literally do not understand anything

I picked the paradox path because the steam page seemed to say it was a good way to start. But I don't get anything. Who am I? Where am I? What's the story? I don't understand the gameplay, why am I one-shoting almost everything? Why is the game always pushing me into a fight? It seems there's a main world which is changing sometimes but also a parallel world where I go sometimes and I become a cyborg ninja, but why? Why is everything taking so long and why am I doing it when I don't even know how combat works? I just press buttons and things happen but I don't know what I'm doing

These instances take ages where I fight waves upon waves of nameless mobs but it is not fun and doesn't teach me anything. There was a point where I was supposed to protect some extractors and bring them power sources... What am I extracting, and why? Why are power sources dropping so slowly? This took ages while the game was roaring some doom music in my ears and I was just there trying to understand what the hell I'm supposed to be doing

I'm completely lost, in every conceivable aspect. There's clearly a direction, at least on the artistic side of the game. I just have no idea what it's supposed to be. Everyone I hear talking about that paradox thing seems to say they feel like they've played a tutorial, but as a new player it feels like the game expects me to already know everything

I love circuit

I don’t mind the awful host migration issues , the constant chaos and unbalanced mess that the RNG system gives for weapons and frames or even the fact that you can lose a ton of progress due to a glitch

It’s fun, it’s a game and I’m having fun playing the game lol

DE did John dirty

To be honest, I was actually going to skip the ten year anniversary alerts, since I already had everything. But this time, I saw that the alerts for this rotation were giving companion slots and kavat codes, so I did them because I was short on both.

But much to my horror, when I did the assassination alert I saw that the target was John Prodman. Champion of the Corpus, strong in body and mind, an unbreakable will. Everyone strove to be as brave and strong as him, and dreamed of being able to single-handedly take on Infested swarms like him. I can't believe DE made us kill John. He was such a great man. John was amazing. And a wonderful lover too.

The universe will never be the same without him...
