To make it clear, i'm not saying these 2 are the only pets that need help, not by a long shot, but I suppose most people that has used any other pet besides certain kavat breeds or an infested-looking fox already knows the issues the other pets hold.
To get Helminth you need to get infected by another player, and then doing the whole process of incubating a kubrow egg. What you get is a visually appealing infested kubrow that while able to take a hit, like most kubrows, falls flat due to the skill given.
With the 4 mods of the strain set, the charger gets an interesting mechanic of spawning maggots (not related to Nidus or the ones from the Pathocyst) for certain ends, but this is after all a crutch that requires you to give up 4 mod slots, and would work better integrated into the helminth in some way.
Vasca Kavats are a pretty cool infested variation (well, its a virus, but not that infestation, it's another infestation that only kavats can have and no infested has a strain of), you need to have a kavat, have it attacked by the vascas that spawn at night in Cetus, then create a pet imprint, repeat this process again and then farm 10 kavat codes and incubator core to finally be able to craft your own vasca... Or just spend plat on a vasca breeding kit and also get a pure vasca with the rare red eyes.
Vasca Kavat has the same issue as other Kavats, of being made of paper and being more than willing of going mano a mano with the fattest grineer around, so a pet whose base precepts are biting slightly an enemy and recovering 10% hp, and reviving their dead owner while sacrificing their own hp, ends up more often than not dying way, way earlier than their owner. I would probably throw away these 2 precepts and add better ones, but that's just my opinion.
Would like to hear your takes on this, or even if anyone has seen any Charger or Vasca in their squads anytime soon, because last time I checked they are in general pretty rare.
