Why don't Grineer just use Corpus genes?

I was thinking about Tyl Regor's lines in the new defense mission, how he wants to steal the genes of Belric and Rania. The Grineer as a race are degrading from centuries of cloning. But why don't they just take genes from fallen/captured Corpus soldiers? Is this ever explained?
