Suggestions to do with my first Tenet Weapon

I just got my first Tenet Weapon, a Tenet Detron and I like it, but it got some mediocre progenitor buff, 26%Toxin. What should I do with it? If I forma it, and later I get another one better, can I reuse it? I read a bit about Valence Fusion, but I don't understand how it works, or maybe I should just ignore it until I get something better? Thanks in advance :D
