I've been playing warframe for about two months. I've finished the star chart, every major quest, and I'm a good chunk of the way through steel path.
For most of the game, like many new players, I used Excalibur almost exclusively. His kit was strong, he was fairly durable, and his exalted blade was a lot of fun. I still have most of my time on Excalibur, and I've invested a fair bit into Excalibur Umbra, in an attempt to make him steel path viable.
That was, until I found Revenant.
Revenant is, far and away, the strongest frame in this game (as far as I can tell). And not in the sense that he does well in any mission type, no.
Revenant trivializes 90 percent of this game's content, with almost no effort.
Seriously, mesmer skin with it's recent buff is now probably the best survivability skill in the game. A set number of charges that can be recast, which tank hits regardless of damage? You can forget about any health mods whatsoever, just keep recasting it when you get low. Oh, and every enemy that hits you gets stunned.
Revenant can literally WALK through every single star chart mission and face no resistance, and while Steel Path takes some attention (mainly because of nullifiers), it's still a cakewalk.
And of course, he can 1hit almost every enemy in the game using reave if they're enthralled, which he can cast for NO COST if they're stunned by mesmer skin.
I have, since obtaining Revenant, not had to change, adapt or tailor my build in any way. The game has boiled down to spawn -> cast 2 -> cast 1, then 3 on tanky enemies.
I Seriously don't know what to do. Every time I try a new frame, revenant calls me back. Every time I try some interesting augment, or synergy, I'm reminded of how it pales in comparison.
TL:DR;
Revenant is love, Revenant is life.
Also, the deluxe skin is mandatory
