Currently they lock you into a medium length animation, often glitch your game, and most importantly they can't actually be done if you're doing high damage as you just kill the enemy. Getting close for the kill is also risky in high end content.
I would love if eximus enemies had a small window perhaps to finisher them when they reach 0 health, like with lich thrall but only for a short time. Parazons also only have three mod slots, which I think most players use for hacking utility in normal gameplay.
As of right now, parazon finishers just feel forced onto us. Impact procs revolve around them, the whole lich system does, and now Eximus enemies are also going to be mechanically balanced with them in mind. At the very least, some more animations would be nice.
