Toroid farming is going to make me lose my darn mind. can I get any advice?

Basically farming these damn things is really frustrating me. I am trying to rank one with Vox Solaris and I can't get these things to drop for the life of me. 4 hours of farming all 3 locations and I've gotten just enough to get 5k standing and I need the highest tier toroid to rank up.

I've gone into all 3 places fought inside and out. Letting the alert get to rank 4 before I start just killing everything. And nothing. I fought outside the Temple of Profit for so long that all the enemies were like Level 80+ and I ran out of ammo for everything. Still only got one Sola toroid. I fought as long as I could but even my tankiest frame(Chroma)I was beginning to get my ass kicked.

I dont have Nekros yet, trying to get him but Lephantis refuses to drop his Neuroptics and seems to love giving me his Chassis(I've got 13, and 7 of the systems).
