I'm usually a lurker and don't really post but I felt like this needs a bit more attention. DE has removed the double resource from the double resources and affinity week that's supposed to take place from July 11th to the 17th. I think this was a really shitty thing to do, to just dangle that carrot in front of our faces and take it away thinking we wouldn't notice. A lot of players I discussed this with were crushed when they went to check the page for themselves and see that the event they were planning to grind was just taken away without explanation. DE should bring this back and really should have double resource and affinity take place more often, it'd be a great way to keep players coming back between updates.
