Can we just give all pets the ability to self revive or regenerate already?

I am kinda tried of checking to see whether a team mate is down or 1 out of the 3 Smeeta Kavat (i run helios or panzer usually) down during a mission or boss fight.

Sometimes I feel like even the normal kavats that spawn in Orokin derelicts are more durable than my decked out companion. I don't see how it is fame breaking since one of the two more popular companions already have the self revive ability.
