I just met a guy who believes smeeta kavats deny you rivens in sorties

Hey...

I just met a guy who believes that, when you complete one of your sortie missions with a smeeta kavat (yes specifically a smeeta kavat) then you would not get a riven at the end... I tried to reason with him and asked about his sources but he just said, that he got over 80 rivens... what is the best way I can combat this misinformation in warframe?
