If we're in a defence mission and one or two of the enemy faction are stuck somewhere or not approaching the defence target, we should be allowed to mercy them and set them free.

These dudes didn't fire a single round till the unlikable god machines approached. They're conscientious objectors, forced to fight by their oppressive overlords. Let us treat them as such.
